Membership Discounts + Scholarships

MANP is committed to ensuring membership dues are not a barrier to joining and remaining part of the network. In addition to our sliding scale dues pricing, we offer scholarships and hardship discounts to meet any budget.

As part of our equity commitment, MANP strives to welcome, support and learn alongside nonprofits who are new to our network as we believe that a diverse range of voices, perspectives, and teachings is vital to a healthy nonprofit sector.

If our sliding scale dues structure is a barrier, we offer a limited number of scholarships for two years of free MANP membership!

To be eligible for these scholarships, your nonprofit must meet three criteria. If your nonprofit is 1) not a current MANP member and 2) a core part of your organization's mission is to advance equity for marginalized communities and meets one or more of the following criteria for scholarship, please reach out:

  • Your organization is headquartered in a rural community
  • Your organization’s annual operating expenses are less than $750,000
  • Your organization received its 501(c)(3) or 501(c)(4) status in the past two years

No applications are required! Please contact membersupport@nonprofitmaine.org to indicate which criteria you meet and request a scholarship.

Hardship Discounts

If your organization is facing financial challenges this year and the typical dues amount is a barrier to joining or renewing, please reach out at membersupport@nonprofitmaine.org to discuss reduced dues options. We are committed to working with you to find a manageable dues amount. All nonprofits are eligible for hardship discounts.

Group Membership Discounts

Many arts nonprofits, land trusts, and nonprofit libraries may be eligible for subsidized memberships through MANP's partnerships

We are piloting a range of approaches to increase access to membership and to foster a sense of welcome and belonging in this network. We are committed to learning from this process, and we welcome your feedback and ideas for improvement. Please email us at membersupport@nonprofitmaine.org if you have questions or feedback!
