Organization Overview
The summer camp, established in 1996 provides girls from urban and rural communities, living in lower-income families and foster homes with a fun summer getaway. Our girls are encouraged to believe in themselves as they gain confidence and explore new activities. During the past 19 years, over 4600 girls have come from New York City Hartford, Providence, Boston, Worcester, Portland, Lewiston and small towns through out New England. More than 50 social service agencies and school counselors work with us to recruit nearly 300 summer campers each season.
