Organization Overview
Habitat for Humanity of Maine is a nonprofit organization dedicated to building a world where everyone has a safe, stable, and affordable place to call home. We believe affordable housing plays a critical role in strong and stable communities.
Habitat for Humanity of Maine works in partnership with the 8 local Habitat offices of dedicated staff and volunteers building and repairing homes across our state.
Our purpose is to raise or provide resources and services for the benefit of Habitat Affiliates within Maine to strengthen the Affiliates so they may in turn, be able to build, renovate, and repair decent and affordable housing for Mainers.
We perform this support function by coordinating regional resource development efforts, coordinating regional marketing and awareness efforts, and providing training, technical assistance, and shared services.
