Federal Updates
Zoom
Event Details
From direct challenges to nonprofit funding, additional Executive Orders, proposed changes to Public Service Loan Forgiveness, incoming impacts to the sector due to H.R. 1 (also known as the tax / reconciliation bill), threats to nonprofit nonpartisanship, and uncertainty around future federal funding levels or a government shutdown, news and policy changes from the federal government have overwhelmed nonprofits for several months.
Hear from Jessica Mendieta, Policy Analyst at the National Council of Nonprofits, for the latest information on what we’re hearing from our national partners, what changes nonprofits need to be aware of, and what other updates we can expect to hear about in the coming months.
