Organization Overview

Some Doing is a New England-based digital support business run by Charles Lockwood that helps nonprofits strengthen their websites and communications systems so they can reach the right people, keep supporters engaged, and operate with less friction on the digital side.

Special Offer to MANP Members

Free 10-Day Nonprofit WordPress Website Build (Pilot)
Some Doing is offering MANP members a limited pilot: a professional WordPress website build or rebuild completed in 10 business days. The website build fee is waived. You only cover managed hosting (roughly $10–$30/month, billed in advance for 6 or 12 months) and any third-party tool subscriptions you choose (for example, forms or event tools).

Included:
- Custom WordPress design and build to match your existing brand.
- Clear donor and volunteer paths (calls to action and navigation).
- Copywriting for core pages based on your existing materials or a quick interview.
- Up to 8 core pages (system pages and blog posts not included in that count).
- Setup of common features like newsletter signup, donation forms, and event calendar (as needed).
- Mobile-friendly, accessibility-minded build and basic SEO setup.
- Hosting through Some Doing’s agency server (WPMU DEV) with updates, backups, SSL, monitoring, and security.

Not included (but available separately if needed):
- Complex custom builds (e-commerce, membership portals, complex integrations).
- Ongoing maintenance and content edits after launch.
- Full branding or visual identity work.
- Deeper volunteer and donor funnel strategy beyond the website build.

Time required from your team is light: a short kickoff call, a content handoff, and one review round.
