Organization Overview
Supporting Access and Assistance Program (SAAP) is a Maine nonprofit organization working to reduce financial barriers to mental health care for working insured adults. SAAP is currently developing its Therapy Reimbursement Program, which will provide financial assistance for eligible outpatient psychotherapy expenses. The organization is in the startup phase and is awaiting IRS determination of its pending 501(c)(3) application. Initial services will focus on Franklin County, Maine through a pilot program designed to improve access to mental health care while preserving client choice of provider.
