Keep Maine Beautiful is a Maine nonprofit founded on a simple reframe: Maine doesn't have a litter problem — it has a pride opportunity. Instead of scolding, we invite. We help the people who live in Maine, and those who love it from away, treat caring for our state as an act of ownership and hospitality: this is home, and we look after it together.
At the heart of the work is our growing Community Crew — neighbors across Maine who lead by quiet example and take visible pride in their towns, turning everyday stewardship into a shared sense of belonging. Founded in 2026 and based in Old Orchard Beach, Keep Maine Beautiful is just getting started, and we're glad to be part of Maine's nonprofit community.
