Meetups Made Easy

Through our "Meetups Made Easy" initiative, MANP supports our members to plan, promote and host their own in-person regional meetups that bring together nonprofit professionals from a range of organizations and causes to share knowledge, discuss issues and ideas, and build professional connections.

How Does it Work?

You provide the vision, find the venue, and coordinate on-the-ground details, and MANP will provide technical, logistical, promotional, and advisory support throughout the process to ensure your gathering is a success!*

Step One: Submit Your Interest

The Meetups Made Easy program is a member benefit! Staff and board members of current MANP nonprofit member organizations who are interested in planning a regional meetup can fill out a brief form to request advisory and promotional support from MANP. 

Step Two: Get Your Toolkit

MANP will provide you with a toolkit including planning checklists, guidance, and templates to help you at every step of the process. 

Step Three: Plan Your Event

MANP's goal is to support you in bringing together nonprofit staff and board members to connect, share information and ideas, and strengthen relationships.

• Hosts determine the size, audience, and format of the gathering. You may keep the audience for your gathering broad or tailor it to specific roles or groups (executive directors, board members, communications professionals, etc). Your format may be very loose or offer some structure. 
• Hosts identify a venue to meet the gathering's needs, and determine date options.
• MANP will provide hosts help and guidance to ensure events are welcoming, inclusive, and accessible so that all attendees can participate fully and feel a sense of belonging.

Please note: MANP does not provide funding or staffing or assume liability for Meetups Made Easy events.

Step Four: Promote Your Gathering

To compliment your promotion, MANP will market your event to our network including listing your event on our Upcoming Events calendar and handling all registrations for your event. 

Step Five: Host Your Meetup

Your Meetups Made Easy toolkit will include suggestions and resources to help things go smoothly. Afterwards, share your photos with MANP's team so we can help showcase and celebrate your event!

Get Started

If you are interested in hosting a meetup fill out the interest form - ideally 60 days before your first proposed event date. MANP will reach out to you within 5 business days of your application at the email address provided to confirm that we can offer support for the proposed date(s) and outline next steps. (Scheduling is based on MANP’s calendar availability and staffing capacity, and event bookings are offered on a first-come, first-served basis.)
