MANP Connects: Turning Equity and Justice Learnings into Lasting Organizational Change
Zoom
Event Details
Join us for this MANP Connects conversation as we explore how learning becomes action. We’ll hear from organizers of Momentum Conservation’s Relearning Cohort about how nonprofits are moving beyond equity conversations to implement new approaches, shift practices, and drive meaningful organizational change. Together, we’ll reflect on what it takes to turn insight into lasting changes in policy, practice, and behaviors across our sector.
New this year: We’re carving out time just for your questions! Come ready with one in mind, or jot them down as the conversation unfolds, and get a chance to ask them at the end of the session!

About the Panelists
Lindy Magness (she/her) is the Education and Partnerships Director at Momentum Conservation and is the co-facilitator and primary administrator of the Relearning Cohort. With a background in non-profit programming design and a master’s degree focused on conflict transformation, Lindy cares most about helping people connect – to themselves, to each other, and to the natural world around them. This has looked like leading backpacking trips in British Columbia, growing food and community in the Shenandoah Valley of Virginia, and more recently exploring the waters of Casco Bay any way she can.
Red Fong (he/they) is a facilitator and creator, who has worked with Momentum Conservation since 2019, helping to develop and implement the Relearning Place Program in collaboration with the Maine Environmental Education Association. They bring experience facilitating cross-cultural dialogues, mobilizing organizational change in non-profit leadership, and weaving containers for participant learning and reflection.
