Event Details

Over the past several years, MANP Connects has become a consistent space to discuss the issues unique to our network and hear from peers and partners at the forefront of the opportunities and challenges facing Maine nonprofits and communities.

On the occasion of our 30th birthday, we’ll kick off the MANP Connects 2024 series with reflections on the state of the sector here in Maine.

In this conversation, we’ll highlight the primary trends and issues currently impacting Maine’s nonprofit organizations based on data we’ve gathered from our membership.

Then, we want to hear whether what we’ve shared resonates. What are we missing? Who might you like to hear speak to these trends or issues in the coming months? Your feedback and ideas are welcome; we’re listening.

This conversation will inform not only the topics we’ll address in future MANP Connects events, but also help our team advocate for our nonprofit partners with the philanthropic and public sectors.

Hosting this session will be:

  • Jennifer Hutchins, MANP Executive Director;
  • Anna Overstrom-Coleman, MANP Membership Manager, and
  • Shirar Patterson, MANP Board Chair and President & CEO, Heart of Maine United Way
