Did you know there are more than 86,000 foundations in the U.S.? Finding the right ones for your organization can feel overwhelming—but it doesn’t have to be.

In this hands-on workshop, you’ll learn what excites foundations about funding an organization and how to identify your best-fit funders. We’ll cover key criteria foundations use to make decisions, practical strategies and databases for research, and how to narrow your list into a focused prospecting plan.

You’ll leave with ready-to-use tools and templates, including AI prompts to support your work. We’ll also briefly explore how these same strategies can inform individual donor prospecting.

By the end of the session, you’ll have clearer next steps and greater confidence to strengthen your foundation fundraising efforts.
