Justin Strasburger

Justin Strasburger is a firm believer in the power and possibility that comes from combining potential with the spark of opportunity and has spent his career working to dismantle broken systems and structures, to ensure that opportunity exists for all, and not just the privileged. Justin currently serves as Executive Director of the Natural Resources Council of Maine, the state's leading nonprofit, nonpartisan organization dedicated to protecting, restoring, and conserving Maine’s environment, now and for future generations.

Prior to joining NRCM, Justin was the inaugural Executive Director of Full Plates Full Potential, a systems-change non-profit focused on ending childhood food insecurity in Maine through strengthening and expanding child nutrition programs. Earlier in his career, they served in a variety of roles at Bottom Line, a national college access and success organization, and Harlem Children’s Zone, a national model for supporting communities holistically.

They graduated from Bowdoin College with a degree in Government, and received an M.S. in Nonprofit Management & Leadership from Northeastern University. Justin serves on the boards of the Maine Association of Nonprofits and the Merrymeeting Food Council. He lives in Brunswick with his partner Rebekah, and their two young sons.
