Organization Overview

The Lost Trotting Parks Heritage Center is an online museum - http://losttrottingparks.com -- Check the links at the top of the front page to explore the Lost Trotting Park Archives and the Lost Trotting Parks in New England. The organization celebrates the Standardbred Horse and harness racing throughout the years. Between 1888 and 1930 there were more than 90 Maine communities with harness racing tracks. Many were associated with agricultural fairs. In the LTP Archives check out the Nelson Category - Maine's famous trotting stallion, Nelson 4209 bred by C.H.
