The mission of actem is to enhance and influence education in Maine through the use of technology.
ACTEM is a non-profit 501c3 educational association that has been in existence in Maine since the 1990’s
ACTEM is an independent, dynamic professional organization, which strives to influence quality teaching and learning through the effective use of technology
ACTEM supports its members by providing relevant professional development opportunities and resources, by aiding schools with education technology initiatives, and by functioning as a purchasing consortium.
