Dues

We are committed to building a vibrant network that spans budget sizes, regions and mission areas. Annual dues are on a sliding scale based on your organization’s operating budget. Dues should not be a barrier to join. FAQs

  • MANP membership is open to all 501(c)(3) and 501(c)(4) nonprofits and foundations.
  • Organizations that have incorporated and are in the process of applying for one of these types of tax exemptions or have a fiscal sponsor are also eligible for nonprofit membership.
  • Other types of nonprofits, such as 501(c)(6)s, can join as an Other Tax Exempt Member through our Friends of MANP program. 

Dues are on a sliding scale based on the annual expense line of your organization’s operating budget. If you are unsure of your annual expenses, use “Total Expenses” on page 1 of your latest Form 990 or Form 990-PF. 

Yes! Our top priority is ensuring you have access to MANP’s resources and support, and we offer scholarships and hardship discounts. Learn more. 

Many arts nonprofits, land trusts, and nonprofit libraries may be eligible for subsidized memberships through MANP's partnerships. 

All staff, board members, and volunteers have access to our extensive list of member benefits through your membership.

Your MANP membership will begin on the day you join and will be due for renewal as of the last day of the preceding month in the following year (Example: if you join on February 16, 2023, your membership will run from February 16, 2023 to January 31, 2024.) Your membership will automatically renew, and we will send you an email with an invoice and payment instructions as your renewal date nears. 

Foundations may select dues based on their annual operating expenses but are encouraged to provide operating support at a leadership level by choosing to join the Foundation Leadership Circle.
