Volunteering with Partners for World Health

by Katie Manter

Earlier this month, the MANP staff headed to Partners for World Health in Portland for our annual Volunteer Day with a member organization. Partners for World Health works to reduce medical waste and improve the quality of healthcare overseas and in our communities in Maine by collecting and redistributing medical supplies. We spent the day putting together nebulizer kits, counting and repackaging otoscope covers and dispensers, and sorting donated medical supplies.

Are you or your organization looking for affordable medical equipment and supplies, such as crutches, blood pressure cuffs, or medical gloves? Learn more about the medical equipment and supplies available through Partners for World Health and how to purchase them. It’s a great way to save money and support a great cause! You can also donate medical equipment and supplies you’re no longer using.

A huge thank you to the wonderful staff at Partners for World Health for allowing us to experience your work first-hand! You can learn more by watching this inspiring video of their work!
