Training on Demand: Recorded Webinars Now Available

by Jessica Lantos

We’ve heard you, and are working to make MANP training more accessible to nonprofit staff and volunteers regardless of geography or scheduling conflicts! In the coming months we’ll be making recorded versions of popular webinars available on demand at discounted rates.

We’re kicking off our recorded webinar selection with two very timely topics:

  • The Affordable Care Act and (Relatively) Small Nonprofit Employers
Presented by Mitchell Stein, Policy Director of Consumers for Affordable Health Care.
This webinar provides a review of the major components of the Affordable Care Act (ACA) and how they impact small nonprofits in our state. The presentation covers the issues that nonprofits need to consider as the major ACA implementation date of 1/1/14 approaches.
  • 007: Licensed to Fundraise
Presented by Brenda Peluso, Public Policy Director with MANP
Is your organization soliciting donations in Maine?  Does it have the proper license to do so? Has your organization hired a professional fundraiser and are they licensed to do business in Maine?  Join us for this informative webinar that will help you ensure that your nonprofit is in compliance with Maine’s Charitable Solicitations Act, including an overview of changes made in the most recent legislative session that go into effect this fall.

Both webinars will be available for purchase until December 31st and are a great deal at only $15 for MANP members and $30 for nonmembers.

We’ll continue to announce new recorded webinars in our newsletter, on Facebook and on twitter as they become available.

You can find all our upcoming trainings, including recorded webinars, in MANP’s event listings.
