The Capacity Builder’s Tool Box-Speaker Series Opens March 17
Funders and nonprofit leaders interested in learning about useful capacity building tools and services developed by Maine-based consultants are invited to attend the upcoming Capacity Builder’s Tool Box luncheon series.
These discussions will run from 11:30-1 p.m., and will be held in either Bangor or Portland. Lunch will be provided, and the cost for attending is $20 for each session. To register, please contact LK Gagnon at lgagnon@nonprofitmaine.org.
The opening discussion takes place March 17. Laura Quinn, executive director of Portland-based Idealware, will talk about the free and low cost technology resources that are available to nonprofits. Idealware is a national nonprofit that provides information to help other nonprofits make smart software decisions. Through articles like A Few Good Broadcast Email Tools, and detailed reports such as The Consumers Guide to Low-Cost Donor Management Systems, Idealware has reviewed hundreds of different software packages of interest to nonprofits.
