New Programs Now Available for Volunteer Managers!
Is your organization overwhelmed with all the day to day operational aspects of running a volunteer program? Do you have experience running volunteer programs but want to advance your skills? As managers or coordinators of volunteers all know, their job is not easy. That is where Project INVEST comes in.
Until recently there was little guidance or formal training for this challenging task. Managers of volunteers in Maine had to learn the hard way through trial and error. Not anymore. Project INVEST is a new initiative to offer formal professional development and training opportunities for managers of volunteers at all skill levels across the state, whether paid or unpaid. This spring only, tuition will be offered at half price.
With online and traditional course options ranging from a non-credit certificate course to graduate level work, these courses will help you maintain a more efficient and effective volunteer program, whatever your level of experience.
