Need help with writing grants?

by Rachael DeCruz

Are you tired of writing grants that don’t get funded? Jonathon O’Brien, a local author and one of the nation’s top grant writers, will be conducting an event on Tuesday, August 18th from 2:00 pm -3:00 pm at the Bangor Public Library as part of the library’s meet the author series. The event will be related to his book “Jon’s Almost World Famous Seven Cs!” – which shows how “FUNdamental” storytelling principles used by Hollywood’s top screenwriters can help nonprofits better their writing by bettering their thinking – resulting in grant proposals that are more compelling, competitive and fundable.

At the event Jon will identify the several critical areas to Maine nonprofits, outline “Jon’s Almost World Famous Seven Cs!” and answer quetsions. The event is free and open to the public. Jon’s book will be available if you’re interested and all the proceeds will be donated to the Bangor Public Library.
