MANP to Celebrate Maine's Nonprofits at Annual Meeting
Put MANP on your calendar for November 8th! We will be Celebrating Maine’ s Nonprofits and we invite you to join us for an evening of inspiring interaction, where we all have the opportunity to learn from each other and take home all the promise of what nonprofits do at their best.
We are pleased to have Ruth McCambridge, Editor-in-Chief of the Nonprofit Quarterly, close out the evening with an interactive discussion, “Terrible & Exciting Things Affecting the Work of Nonprofits: A View From NPQ” There are a dizzying number of changes occurring in and around nonprofits these days, sparked by the economy, political discourse and technology, but there also may be larger changes afoot that present opportunities in the way we might structure our work differently. Ruth will lead an interactive discussion on how an environment which is significantly challenged by the instability of funding relationships can also present opportunities to develop new strategies and utilize new tools to stay in the consciousness of the public. Ruth will focus her remarks on how nonprofits can recognize those opportunities and take advantage of them.
Watch for more information to be made available soon. Until then, here are the basics:
