MANP Offers Idealware Webinar Series: The Email Fundraiser’s Toolkit

by Katrina Ruffner

Email campaigns are a fundraising tool within the reach of even the smallest organizations, and an effective way to communicate with donors and raise money without much expense. How can you make yours stand out from all the others your constituents are likely to see?

Think about it. You need to write crisp, effective emails that engage readers and provide encouragement—and opportunity—to support your nonprofit. You need to grow your email list so that it’s not just big enough to improve your chances of receiving support, but packed full of the people who care about your organization and your mission. And you need to distribute emails efficiently and effectively so they don’t get lost in the flood of other communications clogging in-boxes these days.

Are you ready?

Email campaigns are affordable, and not particularly complicated, but a number of guidelines and best practices can help ensure successful delivery and donor-engagement. Maine Association of Nonprofits (MANP) has partnered with Idealware to present The Email Fundraiser’s Toolkit, a five-session webinar series that will walk you through the soup-to-nuts process of creating such campaigns.

Worksheets, discussions, and “homework” assignments will help you compose, draft, deliver and track your emails, define and measure success, and adapt your techniques and practices to improve results. In addition to the sessions, which take place once each week for five weeks, the presenters will hold office hours each Friday at 1:00 pm Eastern time to answer your additional questions.

Email fundraising campaigns are accessible for every organization. Don’t let your year-end appeal get lost in the crowd.
