Exclusive Advertising Opportunity for MANP Members

MANP is pleased to announce an exclusive advertising opportunity for MANP members from our friends and long-time media partner Mainebiz. Since 2011, the Mainebiz Giving Guide: A Resource for Corporate Contributions has brought Maine’s compelling nonprofit stories to senior-level corporate decision makers across the state.

As an advertiser in the Giving Guide, you can showcase your nonprofit’s story and differentiate your mission and work, so that leaders who decide where to contribute their charitable funding better understand the impact of their investment. This full-color publication will be mailed to Mainebiz subscribers—a readership of 37,000 business executives (90% of whom are CEO’s, senior executives, service professionals and managers). It will also be posted on the Mainebiz website for year-round reference.

Mainebiz is making the Giving Guide as affordable as possible by offering a $300 discount off their regular rates. While the regular cost of a two-page full-color spread is $1,995.00, as a member of MANP, you will receive an additional $300 discount for a total cost of $1,695. Space is limited and available on a first-come, first-serve basis, so reserve by Wednesday, August 29.

The two-page spread features an easy-to-read template of your organization’s mission, programs, volunteer and giving opportunities, and board of directors, which can also include your logo and up to three photos. The right-facing page features your full-page color ad. (Mainebiz is happy to provide complimentary ad design, if you need help.) The Giving Guide will be direct mailed to subscribers in late September.

Considering that many small non-profits do not have the advertising budget to participate in this – has MANP asked whether smaller NP’s could aggregate to make up the 2-page spread and share the cost?

We have shared with Mainebiz the obstacle many of our members face due to the price for participating in the Giving Guide. We regularly look for lower priced opportunities for our members such as the special Down East nonprofit issue coming up. Thank you for your comment.
