Sea Change Yogathon attendees

SeaChange Yoga in Portland stretched into a new pose by turning their annual Yogathon to a fully virtual, live-streamed event within a matter of days. Usually their largest fundraiser of the year, registration for this year’s Virtual Yogathon was free and turned out to be a big success. 300+ participants tuned in throughout the day, and they surpassed their fundraising goal of $50,000. Namaste!

Tune In… The Ecology School in Saco has taken environmental education to the airwaves with their new podcast, Ecology is Everywhere. Each episode features a current or former educator from The Ecology School who shares how their teaching experiences have impacted lives and careers in interesting and sometimes unique ways. Available on Apple Podcasts, Google Podcasts and Spotify.

The educators at Promise Early Education Center in Lewiston continue to help their students learn and grow virtually through daily online videos and activities including story times with Ms. Provost, caterpillar updates with Ms. Ready, dancing the Milkshake with Ms. Kaiser, science lessons with Ms. Crystal, and so much more! Special shout out to the teachers’ kids and families who have been making guest appearances in their videos!
