What Can MANP Trainings Do for You?

by Kelly McCormack

Even though it’s February, there’s plenty of time to set and achieve new goals for the year. MANP is here to help you reach those goals, so we ask:

In 2019, are you looking to…

Build your leadership muscle? Check out this webinar February 13, Lead Like No Other: Behaviors for Gaining Agreement and Engagement.

Get a refresher on your writing skills? Then we have the training for you! Back by popular demand, Graceful Grammar and Punchy Punctuation: Every Day Writing for Your Organization is on March 29 in Blue Hill.

Develop your grants management process? Our partner Idaho Nonprofit Center is offering an online series, Writing Grants for the Common Good, starting February 7.

Learn how to be an effective ally? You won’t want to miss Preventing and Interrupting Harassment Through Active Bystander Training on February 27.

Engage board members in fundraising activities? On March 27 we’ll be in Dover-Foxcroft with the training, Fundraising: A Staff and Volunteer Partnership. Both board members and staff are encouraged to attend.

Figure out if that nagging project can be outsourced? The webinar Build Organizational Muscle: Project Management for Nonprofits will help you determine where project management fits into your organization.

Cultivate a more informed and engaged board? Our first Board Boot Camp of 2019 is happening Presque Isle on May 16.

And that’s just the tip of the iceberg! Other topics you can expect to see this year include:

  • Planned giving
  • Change management + time management
  • Building a diverse board
  • Donor mobilization
  • Professional transitions (both organizations and individuals)
  • Financial management
  • Marketing + communications
  • And much more!
