How long will my services be listed?
As long as your membership in MANP is current or your Friends Support is current and above the $250 level, your listing will be visible to the public. You can edit the posting at anytime. MANP reserves the right to remove any vendor from MANP Marketplace.
Are the vendors in MANP Marketplace screened by MANP?
Not necessarily. With the exception of our endorsed employee benefits program vendors, listing in MANP Marketplace does not constitute an endorsement by MANP. The content of the listings are not reviewed or edited by MANP.
Who are the endorsed vendors and how did they get chosen?
MANP established the Nonprofits First Employers Coalition in 1997 to develop essential employee programs and services that address the unique concerns of nonprofit employers in Maine and to save nonprofits time and money. Our endorsed vendors, Healey & Associates, Unemployment Services Trust (UST), and Ingraham, are part of this coalition and were selected through a competitive bidding process. Through our endorsed provider relationship these organizations are marketed exclusively in their industry.
Why are some vendors marked as MANP SkillBuilder Presenters?
MANP is extremely grateful to the highly skilled nonprofit professionals & consultants that offer their expertise free of charge to Maine’s nonprofit community. SkillBuilder and Conference presenters have been screened by MANP to ensure quality of information and delivery of materials. Individuals marked with an asterix (*) in MANP Marketplace have offered at least two trainings with MANP in the year and have recieved favorable reviews.
Does MANP poll its members about their experiences with any of the vendors listed in MANP Marketplace?
Yes. As part of our ongoing customer service and quality control, MANP staff will provide opportunities for membership to comment on the quality of services provided by listed vendors. MANP reserves the right to remove any vendor from MANP Marketplace.
